Ref: Provisional recognition Iranian Strongest Men & Bodybuilding Association

I wish to inform you that the Iranian Strongest Men & Bodybuilding Association (ISBA) is provisionally recognized by the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness (IFBB) as the national federation in Iran.

Consequently, its athletes are allowed to participate in the 63rd IFBB World Men´s Amateur Bodybuilding Championships to be held in Doha, Qatar, next November 2-5.

In accordance with the article 15.3 of the IFBB Constitution, the affiliation of the ISBA will become final as a result of approval of the Congress in Doha, Qatar, next November 4th 2009.

The ISBA agrees to abide by the Constitution and Rules of the IFBB (including Anti Doping Rules; the IFBB is signatory of the WADA Code) and the decisions and rulings of the Executive Council, and is in full agreement with these principles and rules.

The IFBB is recognized (since 1971) by the General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) as the sole legitimate IF for the sport of Bodybuilding and Fitness. GAISF operates under the patronage of the IOC.

The ASIAN FEDERATION OF BODYBUILDING AND FITNESS (“AFBF”), formed in Aurangabad, India on 25 July 2009, under President Sheikh Abdulla Bin Rashid Al-Khalifa of Bahrain is now the sole recognized IFBB Continental Federation in Asia. Accordingly, the AFBF represents the IFBB’s interests in Asia and will advance the IFBB Sport Program and IFBB Anti-Doping Program throughout all of Asia.

The Olympic Committee of Asia (OCA) has no jurisdiction on IFBB matters or decisions regarding recognition of National Federations as their members.

تابتواند به مسابقات واقعي جهان 2009 در قطر برورد..چون فدراسيون ايران رسميت اين كار را ندارد.
در ضمن فدراسيون جهاني پرورش اندام از سال 1971 از سوي تمام سازمانهاي بين المللي اعم gaisf,ioc,wada .icsspe, iwga,.....تاييد شده است.
